Wetherby Pembridge Ellinikon brings together over 75 years of prestigious British educational heritage from Wetherby, whose alumni include Princes William and Harry, with the accumulated experience of the Inspired schools in Athens and the Group’s extensive sporting and enrichment experience in Greece and internationally to set a new standard for education in Athens.
Opening in September 2028, initially welcoming pupils from Pre-Reception to Year 9 and expanding annually, the school will offer International and Greek Pathways, supported by world-class facilities at the heart of The Ellinikon, Europe’s most ambitious urban regeneration project.

Choose the International Pathway, which follows Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary programmes through IGCSE to the International Baccalaureate Diploma, or the Greek Pathway, with Greek National Curriculum delivered through the IB framework, from Kindergarten to Lyceum. Academic Stages at Wetherby Pembridge Ellinikon
Wetherby Pembridge Ellinikon offers a continuous educational journey from Early Learning through to university entrance, with a choice of two distinct pathways: International and Greek.
International Pathway
On the International Pathway, students progress through Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary programmes to IGCSE and the IB Diploma. The International Pathway will be developed by Inspired Education’s leading educational experts and the Wetherby Pembridge team, drawing on more than 75 years of British educational tradition and academic excellence.
The Wetherby name has long been associated with outstanding education in the United Kingdom and with preparing children for progression to many of the country’s leading senior schools. Greek Pathway
On the Greek Pathway, students follow the Greek National Curriculum delivered through the IB framework from Kindergarten through Primary, Gymnasium and Lyceum. The Greek Pathway will draw on the accumulated experience of the Inspired schools in Athens, whose work spans generations of Greek families. It will combine a strong Greek educational heritage with an international outlook, the inquiry-led approach of the IB framework and intensive English language provision, preparing students for leading universities in Greece and around the world.
